Verification of pilots
All pilots registered on Wingly are required to provide a valid pilot's license, a current medical certificate, and an ID. These documents are carefully verified and revalidated upon expiration.
A complete and verified pilot profile appears on our platform as follows:

Passengers with a complete and verified profile (profile picture, description, etc.) have a higher chance of having their booking request confirmed by the pilot. Just as you want to know who you’re flying with, pilots also prefer to get to know their passengers better.
Rating system
Trust in the Wingly community is built through our rating system. After each flight, pilots and passengers can rate each other. The ratings and flight hours of pilots are publicly available and can help passengers find a suitable pilot.
You can view this information by clicking on the pilot's profile picture on the flight page:
Insurance of your flight
Every aircraft in general aviation is covered by liability insurance, which protects passengers, their baggage, and third parties on the ground.
In addition, we have secured Allianz supplementary insurance for flights with private pilots. This coverage is automatically activated when you book a shared-cost flight through Wingly.
Wingly Pro flights, which are operated as commercial flights by our partners, comply with EU regulations and are insured by the respective partners.
