Can I cancel my booking before departure?

You can cancel a cost-sharing flight with one of Wingly's private pilots up to 24 hours before departure.
To do this, go to your profile under "My bookings" and click on the relevant booking.

Click on "Cancel flight" on the left hand side. The pilot will receive a message - please explain your reasons in more detail.

If you cancel, the following scenario will occur, depending on your payment method:

  • If you pay by gift card, it will be re-credited and extended for one year.
  • If you pay by Paypal or credit card and Sofort, a new gift card will be created to which your credit will be added so that you can make a new booking directly. You can view and manage your new gift card in your profile under "Gift cards".
  • If you pay partially by gift card,Paypal or credit card, the respective means of payment will be re-credited as a gift card and both methods can be used simultaneously in the new booking.

You can recognise a booking with one of our Pro Partners by the pilot description on the page of the flight. This type of booking can only be cancelled by the pilot. In exceptional cases, we recommend that you contact your pilot directly.
