Cancelling your booking before departure

You can cancel a cost-sharing flight with one of Wingly's private pilots up to 24 hours before departure. 

To do this, simply log in to your profile, go to 'My bookings' and click on the corresponding booking. 
You will then have access to a 'Cancel flight' button and will also be able to write a message to the pilot explaining the reasons for the cancellation.


If you cancel your flight, the following scenario will occur, depending on the payment method used:

  • If you paid by gift card, it will be re-credited and extended for one year.
  • If you paid by Paypal or credit card, a new gift card will be created to which your credit will be added so that you can make a new booking directly. You can view and manage your new gift card in your profile under "Gift cards".
  • If you paid partially by gift card and by Paypal or credit card, the respective means of payment will be re-credited as a gift card and both methods can be used simultaneously in the new booking.

You can recognize a booking with one of our Pro Partners by the pilot description on the page of the flight.
This type of booking can only be cancelled by the pilot. In exceptional cases, we recommend that you contact your pilot directly.
