COVID-19 Passengers: Flying with Wingly following the pandemic

We know there is nothing quite like soaring through the skies after being cooped up at home and our pilots can’t wait to see you again.  Following the Covid-19 pandemic, please find below the current situation depending on the country you are reading us from.

In all countries, you are still very much able to book a Wingly flight, buy a gift card (https://www.wingly.io/en/shop/gift-cards), use your vouchers, message pilots and post flight requests on the platform.

United Kingdom: Following the change in government guidelines, Wingly flights are now permitted and can go ahead. If you have specific questions regarding a flight, please do not hesitate to reach out to the pilot in advance. Here is an article that explains how you can do so.

France:  Following the change in government regulations, Wingly flights are now permitted and can go ahead. If you have specific questions regarding a flight, please do not hesitate to reach out to the pilot in advance. Here is an article that explains how you can do so.

Germany: Please continue to follow the government’s advice by checking the situation in your region and by following the state guidelines.

Switzerland: Following the change in government regulations, Wingly flights are now permitted and can go ahead. If you have specific questions regarding a flight, please do not hesitate to reach out to the pilot in advance. Here is an article that explains how you can do so.

AustriaFollowing the recent government regulations, Wingly flights will not currently be going ahead due to the lockdown that is in place. Please continue to follow the guidelines that are set out in your region until you are able to fly with us again.

Other countries:  Please consult the government guidelines for your area to see whether it is possible to fly.

Please note: If the pilot is unable to fly for any reason, you will receive a full refund to the original method of payment within 2-3 working days or when using a gift card for your booking your gift card will be re-credited. Gift cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and they can be extended (in the account of the purchaser) for 1 year and year after year as long as they are still valid when the extension request is done (if they are not purchased via one of our external partners).

While flying is once again permitted, the virus has not gone away and it is very important to remember that protecting yourself is also protecting others around you. Hygiene remains a priority, so please remember to wash your hands and wear a mask when flying with us.

We look forward to sharing the magic of flying with you soon!
