Tipping the pilot after the flight

Tipping the pilot after the flight

After a pleasant flight, you may be wondering whether it's a good idea to tip your pilot. However, it's important to respect the rules: it's forbidden to tip a pilot.

According to airline regulations, pilots cannot accept any form of additional compensation from passengers.

At Wingly, we have developed a transparent and legally compliant cost-sharing system, which fairly distributes flight costs between the pilot and passengers. Outside this framework, it is forbidden to offer additional remuneration to the pilot.

All payments must be made via Wingly's secure online payment system. This not only ensures compliance with legal regulations, but also provides the additional assurance and security offered by our platform. Payments in cash or directly to the pilot are therefore not permitted.

Wingly accepts credit cards and PayPal as payment methods.

IdeaIf you need any further information or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us directly at hello@wingly.io . Our support team is happy to assist you from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
