How can I measure the reliability of a pilot?
One of the pillars of the Wingly community is trust and therefore transparency.
That's why we have set up the following features to help improve trust on our platform:
A rating and feedback system between users - passengers can leave reviews of pilots they have flown with, these reviews might even help answer some of your questions you may have about Wingly and the flight!
Access to information about the pilot's experience - passengers can see information about the pilot's total flight time, flight time over the past year, and flying hours on the plane that will be used for your flight.
The pilot’s verification status - pilots must provide ID, personal details, and proof of relevant documents, which are checked manually by members of the Wingly team, in order to become verified on our platform.
All this information can be seen on the pilot's profile, as shown below:
Additionally, we have also set up a system to know the response rate of a pilot:
You can identify pilots who respond quickly when they receive a flight request. When the “Responds quickly” section appears, there is a good chance that your reservation request will be quickly processed by the pilot.
You will also be able to identify pilots who are less responsive to booking requests. When the “Answer rate” appears, it is possible that you will not receive an answer to your reservation request.

Please note that Wingly pilots are not Wingly employees, they are private pilots who fly for pleasure in their own free time in order to make you discover the magic of flying. That is why it is possible that their schedule may change at the last moment and they may find themselves forced to cancel or postpone the flight. This measure of their reliability is, unfortunately, occasionally out of Wingly's control.
