Validate your ID on your account
How do you validate your ID on your Wingly account?
Validating your ID or passport directly on your Wingly account can increase your chances of having your flight accepted.
It also helps pilots get to know you better before flying together.
Steps to validate your ID:
1. Prepare your document:
- Take a photo (scans are not accepted) of your ID, making sure all information is visible, clear and unobstructed.
- Check that the image is sharp, without reflections and that the borders and corners of the document are fully visible.
2. Go to your Wingly account:
- Go to the ‘Account’ section
- Click on ‘Personal information’.
3. Complete the identity verification :
- In the ‘Identity verification’ section, click on ‘Verify my identity’.
- Fill in the information requested. If you have already added this information to your profile, it will be automatically added. Make sure that it corresponds exactly to the information on your document.
4. Submit your document:
- Upload your ID in JPEG or PNG format only.
- Click on ‘Send’ to send your document for validation.
5. Once your document has been validated, you'll receive an e-mail confirming that it has been submitted.
