How do gift cards work on Wingly for passengers?

It is possible to buy gift cards on our platform so that you can offer your loved ones a cost-shared flight with a Wingly pilot. However, it must be understood that the gift card is nothing more than an amount available to be used to pay for the booking request for a flight and this amount can be used on all flights.

Ultimately, a gift card is a credit available and usable on all Wingly flights.

In the event of solicitation from passengers concerning the use of a gift card, we invite you to redirect them to us via the address hello@wingly.io or directly by telephone at  +44 7782 358860.  Our passenger manager will be happy to guide them through the reservation request process using a gift card.

If you wish, you can also redirect them to this article explaining in detail the booking request process using a gift card.

Note that in the event of cancellation of a flight booked using a gift card, the gift card is automatically re-credited with the amount of the flight and extended for an additional year. Passengers can therefore use it again to make a new booking request.

For information, the Wingly gift card is a 25-character code to be entered when paying for a booking request.
A passenger cannot come directly to you on the day of the flight with a gift card, the reservation must have been made upstream directly on the platform. If you take a flight without having a booking confirmed in advance on your pilot account, we are unable to guarantee the payment of the contribution to the passenger costs and the additional insurance offered cannot be applied.
If you have any questions, you can contact us directly at tower@wingly.io or by phone on +447708405306. We are available from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:30.
