How do I book a flight using a gift card?
If you have arranged a time and date with the pilot already*, follow these steps to make your booking using a gift card:
*Little tip! It's not required to send a pilot a message prior to booking, but we always recommend doing so as it increases the chances of your booking being accepted by the pilot, so your unique flight experience can go ahead!
Go to the flight page of the flight you would like to book and select the time and date of the flight, and the number of seats you would like to book. Click 'Book flight'.
Enter the name and weight of each passenger on the flight. Click 'Next'.
Wingly operates light aircraft which are very sensitive to weight restrictions. Each flight has different weight restrictions, however, if you weigh over 95kg, we generally advise sending the pilot a direct message prior to booking to ensure that this particular flight is suitable.
Send a message to the pilot* and click 'Next'.
*Little tip! This is your chance to tell the pilot a bit about the experience you would like to have! If it's for a special occasion, don't hesitate to let the pilot know. It's also worth noting that routes are often very flexible, and pilots are usually able to tailor the flight to your specific requirements if you ask them to!
Add your Gift Card by either clicking on '+ Add coupon' on the right-hand side or '+ I have a voucher code'. Then simply enter the code on your Gift Card. If the value of the flight exceeds the value on your voucher, you can pay the difference either using a credit card or PayPal.
If the cost of the flight is less than the value of the Gift Card, the remaining amount will stay on your voucher and can be used for another booking. In turn, if your Gift Card does not cover the full cost of the flight, you will have the option to pay the difference either by bank card or via PayPal.
Click 'Pay Now'. Your booking request will be sent to the pilot who will have 48 hours to respond.

➡️ Can I personalize the gift card?
Gift cards cannot be personalised, however, there is space to personalise it yourself when it arrives.
➡️ Can the gift card be used on all flights?
You can use the gift card on all flights available on our platform.
➡️How long is the gift card valid?
The gift card is valid for one year.
➡️ Is the validity period of the gift card extendable?
Only a gift card purchased via our platform can be extended on request at email@example.com during its period of validity.
A gift card purchased through a partner site is not extendable.
➡️ What are the delivery times?
With the Premium option, you will receive the card within 3 to 5 working days.
With the Digital option, you receive your card instantly in digital format by email.
➡️ Can I give it directly to someone else?
You can have the Premium card sent directly to the person you wish to give it to.
➡️ I would like to offer a flight for two people, do I have to offer 2 gift cards?
Only one card is required, all you have to do is match the amount of the gift card with a flight for two passengers when you purchase.
➡️Can I use 2 different gift cards to make a booking request on the same flight?
Gift cards cannot be used in conjunction with the same reservation request.
➡️Can I extend promotional Gift Cards, e.g: Black Friday, Valentine's Day, Christmas deals?
Buy-one-get-one free and all other marketing offers are not eligible for an extension.
➡️ Will I have to pay more than the value of my Gift Card?
If the flight that you are looking at booking costs more than the value of your gift voucher, you will have to pay the difference. Alternatively, if the flight you are looking at booking is cheaper than the value of your gift voucher, the remaining amount on your gift card can be used towards another flight.
