Operation of a reservation request for a passenger
Find out how a passenger makes a reservation request on Wingly in order to have an overview of the entire process. Please note, this is a reservation request and not an actual reservation. Indeed, upon receipt of a reservation request you will then have 48 hours to provide an answer: accept, refuse or propose other dates.
Here is the procedure for making a reservation request by a passenger:
Step 1 - The passenger searches for a flight according to their preferences and accesses the list of available flights. By clicking on the flight, he has access to the various information on the latter:
Step 2 - Once the flight is found, the passenger selects a preferred date, a time slot and the number of passengers. Then they have the possibility to define an ideal take-off time as well as alternative dates:
Please note that the passenger must have have made and account and verified your phone number and identify prior the the booking
Upon receipt of the reservation request, you will have the option of accepting on the preferential date or on one of the alternative dates provided. In addition, even if an ideal time is entered by the passenger, you will have the possibility of defining the precise take-off time yourself within the slot selected by the passengers according to the conditions of the day (machine availability, personal availability, weather forecast etc).
Step 3 - The passenger fills in the passenger information and the weights to produce the weight and balance estimate and proceeds to the payment of the reservation request:
Upon receipt of a reservation request, you have 48 hours to respond to it before the reservation request expires automatically. In the event of a refusal or expiry, passengers are fully reimbursed through a gift card system that can be used on all flights on the platform.
