[PRO] Propose other dates to passengers during a booking request
Passengers make booking requests and not actual booking. Indeed, you must always respond within 48 hours of receiving a request. After this time, the booking request automatically expires, passengers are fully reimbursed and your listing on Wingly may be affected.
When receiving a booking request, you have three options:
- Accept the booking request on the passengers' preferred date or on an alternative date provided
- Refuse the booking request
- Suggest other dates to passengers
Here is the procedure for proposing other dates when requesting a booking:
- If you are unable to accept the booking request on the preferential date or on an alternative date of the passenger, you have the possibility of proposing other dates. In this case, the passenger will then have 48 hours to accept or refuse your proposal.
- Once the proposal has been made, the status of the reservation request changes to "Passenger Action Required" and you have access to the countdown of the time remaining for the passenger to respond.
- You have the possibility to propose several dates. Simply click on "Add a date" after completing your first proposal.
- You have access to the passenger's personal details as soon as the booking request is made, which is why we advise you to speak with the latter if you wish to propose another date for the flight. Thus the exchange will be facilitated and you will maximize the chances that your proposal will be accepted by the passenger.
If the passenger accepts your proposal, the booking request becomes an effective booking and then appears in the list of your booked flights. Otherwise, you are informed by email that the passenger has refused your proposal and the request disappears from your booking requests.
