Website Launch: What steps do I need to take?

Website Launch: What steps do I need to take?

All your flights and availabilities have been migrated to our new booking system. However, we kindly ask you to follow a few steps, so you can use Wingly at its full potential.

  1. We have migrated existing flights to the new version. However, in order to be able to take advantage of the new features introduced, an update of certain parameters on your flight proposals is necessary.

Here are the steps for the different required updates:

Step 1 - Please add the Wingly experience time on all of your flight proposals
  1. We have introduced the notion of Wingly experience time to give Wingly passengers a better understanding and vision of the experience of a cost-shared flight. This is the total time of the experience including for example the briefing, debriefing or the time on site during an excursion. By default, when migrating your flight proposals, we set the experience time to be equal to the flight time.

Step 2 - Please allocate your potential incidental costs in the corresponding categories.
  1. We have added categories for potential ancillary costs related to a flight proposal in order to simplify verification operations. By default, when migrating your flight proposals, we have allocated all the additional costs to the "Rental of equipment for the flight" category, which is why we invite you to update these costs in order to place them in the right categories.

Step 3 - Please check the new scheduling of your availability for each of your flight proposals
  1. From now on, passenger reservation requests are made on time slots and no longer on a specific schedule. Indeed, when requesting a reservation, passengers must select a time slot according to the available slots and they will indicate a preferential take-off time within this slot.
In order to define the time slots available for your flight proposals, we based ourselves on the configuration of your flexible flights from the old version. However, if your flexible flights were set on schedules overlapping several slots of the new version then we have by default assigned the slot " All day ".

As a reminder, the slots of the new version correspond to the following time slots:
  1. All day: 08:00 - 20:00
  2. Morning: 08:00 - 12:00
  3. Afternoon: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  4. End of the day: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  5. Night: slot dedicated to night flying

Eg: Your aerial tour formerly configured in flexible mode on Saturdays and Sundays between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. has by default been configured for Saturdays and Sundays in the "All day" time slot. As the 10:00 am - 2:00 pm time slot falls within two time slots of the new version (“Morning” and “Afternoon”), we have decided by default to apply the largest time slot during the migration.
