What is the difference between fixed passenger prices and equal cost sharing?

Pilots have two options to set up cost-sharing on our platform:

  1. The first one: fixed price per passenger
The total price of the flight is divided according to the number of seats available in the aircraft. Therefore the price per passenger is fixed and does not depend on the number of passengers booking the flight.
  1. The second: equal cost-sharing:
The price per passenger is based on the number of passengers booking the flight in question.

An example of Equal cost-sharing on the basis of a 4-seater aircraft :

  1. For 1 passenger, the price of the flight is divided into two: 50% of the costs to be paid by the pilot and 50% by the passenger.
  2. For 2 passengers, the price of the flight is divided into three: 33% charged to the pilot and 33% per passenger.
  3. For 3 passengers, the price of the flight is divided by four: 25% to be paid by the pilot and 25% per passenger.
