Wingly's security and insurance framework

Wingly's security and insurance framework

This charter was created in cooperation with the European Aviation Safety Agency with the aim of promoting a culture of safety on digital shared-cost flight platforms. By signing this Charter, Wingly undertakes to adhere to its principles, responsibilities and values.

Insurance is also at the heart of Wingly flights:

Within General Aviation, passengers, their baggage and third parties on the ground are covered by the compulsory insurance attached to aircraft. And, in addition, for flights carried out on a private basis within the framework of the sharing of costs between the pilot and the passengers, Wingly offers a unique and tailor-made additional insurance, set up by the broker SAAM Verspieren Group with Allianz. GC&S.

This insurance policy is taken out free of charge and automatically for all flights carried out in cost sharing on Wingly throughout Europe and countries bordering the Mediterranean. In the event of inadequacy of the compulsory guarantees attached to the aircraft used, this additional cover covers the civil liability of the pilot vis-à-vis passengers and third parties on the ground up to one million euros per claim, within the limit of five million euros per year.

This insurance policy is the result of a joint reflection between Wingly, SAAM Verspieren Group and AGCS.

This additional insurance is entitled: User Pilot Aircraft Civil Liability.

This insurance only applies to flights performed privately under cost sharing and does not apply to Wingly Pro flights. Indeed, our Wingly Pro flights are commercial flights automatically provided by our professional partners in accordance with European regulations.
