About Wingly and flight sharing

Wingly is the first flight-sharing platform in Europe. Through our digital platform, we connect private pilots, offering vacant seats to passengers curious to discover Earth from above so that they can share the costs of the flight together.

Pilots share their passion for aviation while reducing costs and passengers have the opportunity to experience beautiful landscapes or reach their tourist destination in an extraordinary way at affordable prices.

By offering private jet flights at a lower cost and getting more people to fly, Wingly is democratising private aviation and is changing the way people think about it.

The most beautiful and oldest dream of mankind becoming a reality accessible to all thanks to Wingly.

Take to the skies, admire the rare diversity of European landscapes and enjoy a new way of seeing the world!

Wingly is not an airline but a platform for connecting private pilots and passengers.

Is it legal?

Flight sharing is regulated and legal in Europe.

The European AIR OPS regulation N ° 965/2012 on flight-sharing allows pilots to share flights with passengers, however, they are not allowed to make a profit.

The legislation on flight sharing in the United Kingdom remains consistent with that of the European Union. Here, you'll find the legislation pertaining to flight sharing in the UK: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/eur/2012/965/contents

The pilots of the Wingly community are private pilots offering to share the costs associated with the flight, they do not perform a commercial service and do not make any profit. Pilots are not Wingly employees.
They are real enthusiasts who fly in their spare time and who want to share their passion.
Their purpose is only to share the cost of the flight with you. As a passenger you only pay your share in proportion to the total cost of the flight and the pilot also contributes to the costs of the flight.

What type of plane will I be flying in?

The majority of pilots who post flights on Wingly use single-engine aircraft with a carrying capacity of 2 to 4 passengers.

On the description of each flight will be detailed the make and model of the aircraft in which you will fly. You will also find photos of the plane in question.

If you would like any further information or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly at hello@wingly.io. We will be happy to assist you from Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
