No response from the pilot following a booking request

No response from the pilot following a booking request

First of all you should know that Wingly pilots are not Wingly employees, they are private pilots who fly for pleasure
on their own free time in order to make you discover the magic of flying. That's why it is possible that they may not respond immediately
to your requests because of their own external schedule.

After you've made a flight reservation request, the pilot has 48 hours to accept it, refuse it or propose other dates. If after 48 hours the pilot
has not acknowledged your request the request is automatically cancelled. If you pilot cancels your booking request:

  • If you pay by gift card, it will be recredited and extended for one year.

  • If you pay by Paypal or credit card and Sofort, a new gift card will be created, which will have the value of your initial payment,
so that you can make a new booking immediately. You can view and manage your new gift card in your profile under "Gift cards".

  • If you pay partly by gift card and Paypal or credit card, the respective means of payment will be reaccredited
as a gift card and both gift cards can be used simultaneously in the new booking.

It is possible that the pilot of your chosen flight will come back to you after the 48-hour validation period.  In this case, you will be able to discuss and agree on a date with him/her to make a new booking request.

If you would like any further information or if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us directly at hello@wingly.io. We will be happy to assist you from Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
