No response from the pilot following a booking request
The pilots offering flights on our platform are private pilots, not Wingly employees. They fly in their free time to share their passion for aviation. Due to their personal schedules, there may occasionally be delays in responding to inquiries.
Pilot response time:
After sending your booking request, the pilot has 48 hours to :
Accept your request,
refuse it, or
propose alternative dates if the selected ones are unavailable.
If your booking is refused or expires:
Payment by gift card
The gift card will be automatically credited with the full amount and, if necessary, extended to ensure at least 6 months of additional validity.
Payment by PayPal or credit card
The paid amount will be credited to a gift card, which is valid for one year and can be extended in 6-month increments. You can use this credit for a new booking and view and manage the gift card anytime in your profile under "My Gift Cards".
Combined payment (gift card + PayPal or credit card)
The amount paid will be credited to the gift card used and, if necessary, extended to ensure at least 6 more months of validity. Additionally, a gift card will be issued for the amount paid via PayPal or credit card (valid for one year and extendable). Both gift cards can be used together for your next booking.
In some cases, it may happen that the pilot contacts you after the 48-hour confirmation period has passed. In this case, you can agree on a new date together, and then you can submit a new booking request.
If you need any further information or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us directly at hello@wingly.io . Our support team is happy to assist you from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
