Tips on your booking with Wingly

Tips on your booking with Wingly

At Wingly, our pilots offer flights on their own time. This means that a pilot may not be available on the date requested, or may be forced to cancel a flight for personal reasons. Consequently, no flight can be guaranteed. However, here are a few tips to increase your chances of finding a flight.

1. Check your profile

To help you feel more confident, we recommend that you check your profile with a piece of identification.
  1. Upload a photo of your profile.
  2. Pilots want to know who they're flying with, just as you want to know who your pilot is.
2. Contact the pilot before booking

The availability shown on a pilot's calendar may vary for a variety of reasons (personal, weather, aircraft maintenance, etc.) To avoid any surprises:
  1. Contact the pilot before booking to confirm availability.
  2. Read this article to find out how to contact a pilot.
If a pilot is not available, you can also :
  1. Contact other drivers in your area, even if their itinerary or destination is different.
  2. Suggest a specific route or destination before booking. Many drivers are open to new suggestions.
3. Book in advance

We do recommend that you book your flight at least 2 weeks in advance, as this gives the pilots time to check their availability, and improve the chances that your flight can happen.
