Tips on your booking with Wingly

Tips on your booking with Wingly

Firstly, it’s important to understand that pilot fly in their free time and because of this they can decide for themselves when, where and for how long they want to fly. Hence no flight can be guaranteed to take place. Nevertheless there’s a few tips with which you can increase the chance of a pilot accepting your booking!

Verify your Profile

As trust is one of our cornerstones at Wingly, it is advisable to verify your profile with your ID and post a profile picture. Just as you want to know who your pilot is, the pilot also wants to know who will fly with him.

Contact the pilot before booking

As mentioned, the pilots fly in their free time, which means that the availability specified in the calendar can differ from the actual availability of a pilot for a variety of reasons (personal reasons, illness, aircraft availability, maintenance work on the aircraft, weather, etc.). It is therefore advisable to get in touch with the pilot before booking and to agree on a date and time at which to fly.

If you are looking to contact the pilot prior to booking, you can do so by clicking on the "Contact Pilot" button in the pilot section for your desired experience. Alternatively, you can also click on this article that can help you contact a pilot prior to booking.

 Book in Advance

We do recommend that you book your flight at least 2 weeks in advance, as this gives the pilots time to check their availability, and improve the chances that your flight can happen.

If you would like any further information or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly at hello@wingly.io. We will be happy to assist you from Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
